कोरोना की आपदा ने एक बार फिर साबित कर दिया है कि खतरे में सिर्फ भात-रोटी, छत-रोजगार और जिंदगी भर नहीं है। खतरे में पूरी दुनिया है – वह पृथ्वी है, जिस पर मनुष्यता बसी है।
जंगल नेस्तनाबूद कर दिए, नदियाँ सुखा दीं, धरती खोदकर रख दी, पशु-पक्षियों को उनके घरों से बेदखल कर दिया, पारिस्थितिकी (इकोलॉजी) मटियामेट करके रख दी। बर्बादी कितनी भयावह है इसे देखने के लिए लैटिन अमरीका या कहीं दूर जाने की जरूरत नहीं है — सिंगरौली के बगल में में पड़ती है, वहां से सड़क मार्ग से यात्रा शुरू कीजिये और सिंगरौली, सीधी, उमरिया, शहडोल, अनूपपुर पार करते हुए छत्तीसगढ़ के कोरिया, सरगुजा क्रॉस करते हुए कोरबा तक पहुंचिये। अंदर मत जाइये — सड़क-सड़क ही चलिए और सच्चाई अपनी नंगी आँखों से देख लीजिये। अपने कठपुतली शासकों के लिए ऐशोआराम और चुनाव जीतने के साधन भर मुहैया करके कारपोरेट ने सब कुछ उधेड़ कर रख दिया है। विपन्नता और दरिद्रता इस कदर बढ़ा दी है कि जितनी कैलोरीज बकरी या मुर्गी को खिलाई जा रही है उतनी भी आधी आबादी और उसके बच्चों को नहीं मिल पाती। शरीर इतना कमजोर है कि एक मच्छर का काटना नहीं सह पाता और मर जाता है।
किसलिए ?
सिर्फ बहीखातों में मुनाफों को दर्ज करने के लिए!! क्यूँकि जितना धन उन्होंने कमाया है, उसे वे अपने पर तो खर्च कर ही नहीं सकते। उदाहरण देख लें :
31 मार्च 2020 को मुकेश अम्बानी की कुल घोषित दौलत 48 अरब डॉलर थी। आज की एक्सचेंज रेट (1 डॉलर = 76.83 रुपये) से यह धन होता है 3687 अरब 83 करोड़ रुपया। अब अगर यह मोटा भाई पूरे सौ साल जीए और उन सौ सालों की गिनती आज से मानी जाए और अपने ऊपर हर रोज 1 करोड़ रुपया खर्चा करे, तो इस जमा धन को खर्च करने के लिए भाई को 10 जनम लेने पड़ेंगे। यदि ये हिसाब भारत की औसत उम्र 70 वर्ष के हिसाब से लगाया जाए, तो इन्हे 16 जन्म लेने पड़ेंगे इस पैसे को खर्च करने के लिए।
फिर भी कमाई से बाज नहीं आ रहे। यह सिर्फ, केवल और मात्र हवस है, एक भयानक मनोरोग है। इस हवस को मैक्सिम गोर्की ने रॉकफेलर के साथ अपनी मुलाक़ात के वर्णन में बड़े दिलचस्प अंदाज में ब्यान किया है। इनमें से एक रुपया इनकी मेहनत का कमाया नहीं है। यह लोगों का पैसा है, जिसे चुरा-चुराकर इन्होने अपनी रोकड़ बना लिया है। ठीक यही हवस है, जिसने अब पूरी पृथ्वी के अस्तित्व को दांव पर लगा दिया हैं।
क्या अचानक हुआ यह सब ?
बिलकुल नहीं। ऐसा होना ही था। यह मुनाफे को ही एकमात्र लक्ष्य मानने वाली इस जघन्य प्रणाली का एकमेव विशिष्ट स्वभाव है। कोई 153 साल पहले लिखी अपनी किताब पूंजी में कार्ल मार्क्स ने एक मजदूर टी जे डनिंग की चिट्ठी को उद्धरित करते हुए इसे तभी उजागर कर दिया था। इस मजदूर ने लिखा था कि “जैसे जैसे मुनाफ़ा बढ़ता जाता है पूंजी की हवस और ताक़त बढ़ती जाती है। 10% के लिए यह कहीं भी चली जाती है ; 20% मुनाफ़ा हो, तो इसके आल्हाद का ठिकाना नहीं रहता; 50% के लिए यह कोई भी दुस्साहस कर सकती है ; 100% मुनाफ़े के लिए मानवता के सारे नियम- क़ायदे कुचल डालने को तैयार हो जाती है और 300% मुनाफ़े के लिए तो ये कोई भी अपराध ऐसा नहीं, जिसे करने को तैयार ना हो जाए, कोई भी जोख़िम उठाने से नहीं चूकती, भले इसके मालिक को फांसी ही क्यों ना हो जाए। अगर भूकम्प और भुखमरी से मुनाफ़ा बढ़ता हो, तो ये खुशी से उन्हें आने देगी। तस्करी और गुलामों का व्यापार इसकी मिसालें हैं।”
(हमारे देश में नील की खेती और अकालों में भी लगान वसूली और कल लिए सरकार के फैसले कि वह सरकारी गोदामों में पड़े अनाज को मुफ्त में बांटने की बजाय उसे एथेनॉल बनाने के लिए देगी, ताकि सेनेटाइजर बन सकें, इसके ताजे उदाहरण हैं।)
कोरोना का मायका और ससुराल किसी चिमगादड़ के रक्त या पैंगोलिन की लार में नहीं, इसी पूंजीवादी मुनाफे की हवस में है। इसी ने इस वायरस को पैदा भी किया है और अब इसी के बहाने अपनी तिजोरियों को भरने में भिड़ा हुआ है। कोरोना काल में क्या होगा, इससे ज्यादा अनिश्चित बात यह है कि कोरोना के गुजर जाने के बाद क्या होगा।
इस ताजे आगामी भविष्य में निश्चित केवल दो बातें हैं ; एक – हिन्दुस्तानी और दुनिया भर के कारपोरेटों की संपत्ति में कल्पनातीत बढ़ोत्तरी होने जा रही हैं। दो ; यह सृष्टि, हमारी पृथ्वी अपने अस्तित्व के अब तक के सबसे भयानक संकट से दो चार होने जा रही है। कोरोना का 2019 का संस्करण कोविद 2019 हरा दिया जाएगा, मगर उसके बाद नए-नयों की जो लहर आयेगी, उनकी संहारकता का अनुमान लगाना मुश्किल है। दुनिया में हर समझदार व्यक्ति इसे लेकर फिक्रमंद है।
रास्ता क्या है?
रास्ता सचमुच बहुत आसान है। रास्ता है बीमारी की जड़ को हटाकर एक ऐसी सामाजिक प्रणाली लाना, जिसमें मुनाफ़ा ही ईश्वर न हो। जिसमे प्रकृति और उसकी सबसे अनमोल कृति मनुष्य को रौंदना, कुचलना, लूटना और धनसंपदा इकट्ठा करना ही विकास और प्रगति न माना जाए। कुछ समय पहले बोले थे फुकोयामा कि अब पृथ्वी और जीवन को सिर्फ समाजवाद ही बचा सकता है। फ्रांसिस फुकोयामा अमरीकी दार्शनिक हैं, किसी कोण से समाजवादी नहीं है। उलटे उसके निंदकों और भंजकों में सबसे अग्रणी कतार में हैं। यही थे, जिन्होंने 1991 में समाजवाद को लगे धक्कों के बाद “इतिहास के अन्त” का सिद्धांत दिया था, जिसका मतलब था कि अब जो है सो यही है और अनंतकाल तक यही रहेगा। यही व्यवस्था चलेगी थोड़े ज्यादा सुथरे लोकतन्त्र और सम्पन्न होते जीवन के साथ।
उनके इस सिद्धांत को लेकर कारपोरेटी कलमघिस्सू मार इतने बौराये थे कि समाजवाद और मार्क्सवाद के एक बार फिर से मर जाने, ख़त्म हो जाने का एलान कर-करके अपने गले बैठा लिए थे। 1848 में कम्युनिस्ट मैनिफेस्टो के गुटके और 1867 में छपी दास कैपिटल (पूँजी) के ग्रन्थ के छपने के बाद इसके मर जाने की “पुष्टि” में लिख-लिखकर इन्होंने और इनके चपड़गंजुओं ने जितने कागज़ काले किये हैं, उनसे इस धरती की भूमि को सात-आठ बार ढाँका जा सकता है। इस काले काम में जितनी स्याही खर्च की है, उससे पूरे प्रशांत महासागर को काला किया जा सकता है। मगर जैसा कि अमरीकी अर्थशास्त्री और नवउदारवाद के बड़बब्बा जोसेफ स्टिग्लिट्ज़ ने कहा था ; “अगर बीमारी वही है, जो वह (मार्क्स) बताकर गया था, तो दवाई भी वही लगेगी जो उसने बताई है।”
जिन्हे इसका ताजा सबूत चाहिए उनके लिए कोरोना के दौरान क्यूबा और वियतनाम से लेकर चीन तक ने अपने व्यवहार और बर्ताब से पूंजीवादी-समाजवादी सोच के अंतर का उदाहरण प्रस्तुत कर दिया है। जहां समाजवाद नहीं है, किन्तु उस नजरिये में विश्वास करने वाले सरकार में हैं — उस केरल ने अपनी कामयाबी से दुनिया भर को दंग कर दिया है। कोरोना महामारी से बचाव सिर्फ 20 सेकंड तक हाथ धोने में नहीं है — ऐसी सभी आपदाओं से बचाब पूँजीवाद से हाथ धोने में है। शुभस्य शीघ्रम…!!
